When it comes to pelvic pain and conditions, there is a stigma and embarrassment that stops many people from seeking help. And, while most people look to Google to understand their conditions, finding useful, practical information was virtually non-existent. With years managing her own pelvic health issues, advocating for herself with medical professionals and testing almost every product imaginable, Emma decided it was time for something to change. So, she created The Pelvic Hub.
Strategy
The Pelvic Hub was about more than selling products, it was about breaking the silence around common pelvic health challenges, and giving people the information they needed to take control of their own health.
We supported The Pelvic Hub with unpacking the critical elements of their brand, including their audience, personality and credibility. The goal was to build a brand was open and relatable, without oversharing, and that was fun-loving and cheeky, without minimising the pain their audience was feeling.
Visual Identity
Following our discovery, we created stylescapes to show the team a few visual directions we could pursue before creating The Pelvic Hub logo concepts, type and colours. The line pattern, based loosely on the shape of the pelvis, adds a fun supporting graphic to the visuals that can be used to represent the brand in the absence of, or in conjunction with the logo.
We rolled out The Pelvic Hub branding on business cards, thank you cards, stickers and social media graphics. We also created Canva templates for the stickers and instagram graphics to ensure their team could easy update and create her own collateral in the future.
Results
When I first got in touch with Baker Creative I was feeling overwhelmed as to how or where to even start. I got quotes from other designers and thought about doing the website myself. I am SO glad I decided that was not a good idea!
Other than the fact that they are both amazing humans and pleasure to work with, I really appreciated Baker Creative's attention to detail, the fact that they were realistic about costs, that they stuck to the timeframes they set and the work was always 110%. Lisa and Kane are incredible (understatement) and went above and beyond to help me come up with an amazing website and nailed my branding. Everyone I have shown has loved my website and I am super proud of what we’ve created.
